Turn job-site photos into a customer-ready completion report
Quick answer: Techs upload before-and-after photos to a shared folder; an AI step writes a short plain-English summary and the office sends a branded PDF report after review.
Last updated October 16, 2026
Steps
- Create one shared folder per job (Google Drive or your field app) where techs upload before/after photos and a few notes.
- Trigger on the job being marked complete.
- Have AI write a 5–8 sentence summary of the work from the tech's notes (not from guesses about the photos).
- Fill a report template (Google Docs or your field app) with the summary and photos, then export to PDF.
- Office reviews and sends it with the invoice.
What you need
Tools: Google Drive or a field-service app (Jobber, Housecall Pro) + Zapier/Make + Google Docs. Costs: see each vendor's current pricing page.
What to watch
AI must summarize the tech's notes only; never let it claim work, parts or warranties that aren't in the notes.
Don't include photos showing customers, house numbers or anything personal.
